It’s Valentimes!
Ok, so I may be a few days behind on posting about my hubby & my Valentine’s day/trip, but that’s because we made a whole weekend trip of the holiday. Yes, Griffin surprised me & told me he was taking me to Sedona >> one of the prettiest parts in AZ >> for the weekend. We were having a sectional meeting the morning of Valentine’s Day, & also I was feeling pretty sick, so it worked out perfect that we could take a little weekend vacation together during one of our sectional tour breaks. On the morning of V-Day, before Griff headed to the sectional meeting, he left me a cute little handmade puppet on my nightstand, asking me to be his Valentine.
I love cheesy little gifts like that. :)
Also, we were in Tucson at the time, & since I wasn’t feeling great to go out, we decided to visit Griff’s nana. Basically Griffin had two Valentines this year. Lucky man.

We ended the night visiting Griffin’s brother at Starbucks while he was working.

Ok, so now onto our weekend trip in Sedona. Prepare for tons more photos… big surprise, right?
We arrived in Sedona, checked into our hotel, & began exploring.
Later that evening we went to a fancy restaurant for a romantic dinner with a view of the red mountains. Griffin also taught me how to play chess while we waited for our table. I felt pretty smart.
