I am so excited to introduce you to our son, Myler William McGrath. He came right on his due date, January 11, 2017 at 6:24am. He weighed 6.9 oz & measured 20.5 in. I love that he came on his due date, because to us, it was another reminder that God is always on time. Today he is already one week old, & time is flying fast! We are so grateful for this gift, & are still in awe that he’s here with us. I will try to post the birth story on here soon, but I can’t give an exact date just because we are all adjusting to life with a newborn. It’s funny, it’s messy, it’s exhausting, it’s hard, it’s beautiful, & it’s amazing!
Myler is a name that came from my husband’s family. The meaning of his name is “the best things await us in heaven.” We gave him this name as a tribute to our 6 babies in heaven. His middle name William came from both my granddad & Griffin’s papa, & it means “resolute protector.” We loved the meaning of this as he is the firstborn of our family.
